Not legal advice
- 1
What NEXO is
NEXO Spain explains official Spanish administrative procedures in plain language, in English, Spanish and Russian. It tells you which document exists, what an official source says about it, how a procedure generally works and what to prepare beforehand. A verified answer shows the official page it came from and the date that page was last checked.

What NEXO is not
NEXO is not a law firm, a gestoría or a registered immigration adviser, and nothing here is legal advice. It does not tell you whether you qualify for a permit or a visa, does not guarantee that an application will be accepted or processed faster, and does not replace the official institutions. It helps you deal with them correctly.

Using it safely
Official procedures change. Confirm the current requirements on the official source linked in each answer, and check the date shown. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for what you submit. Where an answer is not backed by a verified official source, it is labelled unverified rather than presented as fact.

When a professional is needed
For irregular status, arraigo, family reunification, appeals or refusals, NEXO will not answer and will tell you to speak with a qualified immigration professional. Where NEXO offers an introduction to a professional, that professional acts on their own account under their own terms, and any advice they give is their responsibility rather than ours.
